V8Monaro Posted June 30, 2008 Report Share Posted June 30, 2008 Hi guys I am from London and I'll start by saying what a great site this is. Its been a great resorce since I got my unit a week ago. I have an AVIC-HD3BT which I'm pretty sure is the same as your Z2 in the US?? I installed it in my Ford Cougar (Mercury Cougar in America) and apart from a fitment issue the headunit itself is amazing! I want to tody up the fitting of it but the stuff it does is unreal! I have read that for security reasons, if the unit is removed from the car or the battery is disconnected.... then it supposed to have some sort of passsword protection when you start it up again? I have not set a password on the unit nor can I find where to do so. Could anyone shed any light on this for me Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
