ChrisK
No matter what I do, I cant get the F700 to keep the correct time. Auto correction will not function. I've manually set the time and it keeps on going back to GST. I've changed both the time zone AND the time. Each time I turn the car back on, it's back to the GST time and time zone. Any ideas? I've preformed a button reset while the car was off and also reset to factory settings. All other memory preset functions work properly.

Yeah... my clock is off by about 12 minutes and all i can do is change the hour up and down. I can't make any correction for the minutes.
ryooki
My clock randomly will switch a few hours, then... it goes back to normal after a few more hours. Very odd. I've also had my screen switch to "night" mode in the middle of the day and switch back to day mode after an hour or so. very weird.
ChrisK
Ya know I just noticed. When the car starts. It's at the correct time, it'll then change within 30 seconds. It goes back to GMT
dodgeboy
I'm also having this problem. It's usually either 1 hour ahead, or 1 hour and 12 minutes ahead. Seems to correct itself after several hours of use, and then break itself again. Sometimes it allows me to correct it by changing the timezone or turning off the auto correction feature. Sometimes it doesn't. Good times. Way to go with messing up even the simplest things beyond my wildest expectations, Pioneer. My patience for this unit is really wearing thin. I hope an update to resolve at least some of these issues comes out soon. Dave
HiFiSi
Good thing is there's a clock 3 inches up from my stereo...
unrequited
Good thing is there's a clock 3 inches up from my stereo... Yeah, doesn't fix the day/night auto switch for the GPS themes... I was driving at 3am and all of a sudden the thing turned neon white because it thought it was 1pm in the afternoon. *sigh*.

True, but for me it's only off between 6 and 12 minutes from actual time, so the day/night problem doesn't really pop up for me.
ChrisK
Well I called Pioneer on this issue today. They mentioned the upcoming (but no firm date) firmware release and told me I should wait for it. Nice. 'They think it may be done but are looking for a way to distribute it' as stated by a tech at 7:35PM Eastern time. IE. 5 minutes after they close. Click. Dial tone. dodgeboy
My clock issues have now expanded to include an 11 hour difference that is not correctable to the correct time. Nice! So at night, my map is in the day mode, and during the day, it's in the night mode. And my clock is 1 hour off on the display. Turning off auto-correction and trying to manually adjust the time doesn't work (it won't let me go far enough in either direction to get it to the correct time). Wow. Just wow. Dave x2, in the morning its correct, by 12 in the afternoon its at least 1 hour off. This update cant come soon enough.
HiFiSi
My clock went back to normal after a couple of days. It lost track of time after I had to unhook my battery while adjusting my valve clearances. When I hooked the battery back up, the time was off by 12 minutes and I couldn't fix it. I just noticed yesterday morning that it was correct again and has been ever since.
Bolt
My clock is consistantly 2-3 hours off on my 700. The font is a lime green color which is really hard to see the time in the day. I hope that changes with the firmware update.
