I think this is good news. This should mean that the patch is almost ready for release. Or at least we know it will be released by 8-2

Not really. Because Circuit City is advertising the F700 units for sale doesn't mean the F900 or F90 units are going to be available at those times.

Well I have a 700, so Yeah it means good news for me. These usits are all so similar, except for a DVD drive and MSN Direct I would expect that they would prepare to roll out this update for all F units at the same time.

Hmmm, maybe they have more pull with Pioneer and got a actual ETA.
Or maybe they just guessed it would be done by then since Pioneer wont give any status/ETA reports.

their site says:

F700BT: 8-02-08
http://www.circuitci... ... tDetail.do

F900BT: 8-23-08
http://www.circuitci... ... tDetail.do

I don't want to wait that long....geeeeeeez.

Just got info today I had sent a message yesterday...

from Pioneer Direct.

Q: When can I expect this product to be finalized and shipped out? I am currently waiting for one.

Regards,

A: Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc.
I am sorry, I do not have an exact ETA.
I would expect the updated units to begin shipping within the next week or so.

Thank You,

e-ship is basically shipping out of the website... it usually takes about 5-7 business days if the product is in stock on the web, which it is.\

Its funny how CC is not a Premier dealer. The F700 is a steal if you dont need 4amp, DVD, and MSN Direct.

This is not a joke/hoax. With the purchase of a AVICF90BT from SOUND ADVICE in Clearwater, Fl is giving you $500 in gas. This is a limited time value. WE ONLY HAVE 100 GAS CARDS TO GIVE AWAY. When they are gone, THEY ARE GONE!!!. This can also be applied to the AVICF700BT with installation and parts(must exceed $999.99). We have been in the Tampa bay area for over 30 years and in the same location since 1990. You can reach us @ soundadvice0913@gmail.com with any questions. We would love to gain your business.
