lemonhead
I'm cranky that I have to go buy an SD card and an SD-USB adapter. I was really hoping for a CD-RW or USB stick solution. oh well. You drive an A6, have a $500 cell phone and bought HD radio. You can't afford 10 bucks for an SD card and a reader?
superjet
The american way! In dept with toys and cannot afford simple things.
CatchMeIfYouCan631
a 4gb sd card/reader today cost me about $40. but point being, no point in gettin cranky theres nothin you can do except buy it or dont update. NickyD32 startup time is roughly 60 seconds. but at about 30 seconds in while the map is still loading you can play with the music. and yes youre correct about the map issue, if your in 2d mode the map will always face north. and 3d landmarks are only in the 900BT and 90BT

HiFiSi
I believe there would be different versions for Europe, Canada, and the US. Because of different POI's as well as the radio frequency thing. Also, the European models and US models don't have all the same features in them. And lastly, the European model definitely would have a different firmware update, because the part of the US update that gets rid of the "comma" issue with the text to speech won't be required with the European update. Well, I received the F900BT unit last Saturday, and it's marked with a blue DOT, as described by Pioneer. it is version 1.001500, and should be the new version, I'm from Denmark, Europe. so guess that it's a matter of days before they update there webpage.. although: Startup, slow.. Apple iPod Classic 160Gb (20Gigs used) seems to work flawless. Video from SD card, not positive, made the unit halt. Navigation, this is my first go with Pioneer Navi, but I am not impressed.. BlueTooth handsfree, needs to shout at the mic, using HTC touch Diamond.. off-Topic: doesn't the F900BT support voice commands..??? if yes, how do they work... can't really figure it out.. (and the F90BT is not available in Denmark (or Europe I would believe..)

CatchMeIfYouCan631
no, if the 700bt has it the 900bt deffinitly does. i kno it takes a few tries unless uve been driving for a few minutes. play aroundwith it and see wha you get, press it, hold it in a second, etc

It should work from the NAV or music playback screens.
