What the hell is this BMP on the update card? (NSFW!)

So I'm trying to hack the update to change icons... looks like it'll be cake since they've unprotected at least this first update package... look what I found!

Man I wish they kept this as the "loading" image. 0_o

Probably some juvenile software developer threw that in there right before it was going out to get a laugh. I don't see how it would have gone though testing and analysis and everything with that in there. The image size is 320x240, so it was obviously not purposely put there in the 800x480 folder by pioneer for use.

Well like I said, it was most likely one person or a small group of people that did that, not Pioneer itself. Probably snuck it in there after all the testing/reviewing was complete so there wouldn't be any chance of anyone finding it before release. There's no way pioneer would purposely put a completely irrelevant picture of a girl's ass in their firmware update or even allow it if they found out about it.

every employee represents the company it works for. I work as a kitchen designer for a company called NDA Kitchen Co.. if i had a flaw in my design that affected it in the household, NDA would look bad, not me.

 

i doubt itd happen but there can actually be a lawsuit because of that. and even though it was one person that did it, its pioneer that will lose, not just that one employee.
