Got2003gtp
I'm assuming so but not 100% sure. this was just the info I got today from Pioneer when I called. Sorry

intmedhead
Got the N-5 two weeks ago and having troubles with bluetooth connection between treo 700w and unit....installer thinks it is the Treo phones. Otherwise unit works great.
Dane186
Yea im kinda failing to see a point to get the N5 when you have a N4

TypeS
I would use caution on this. Using the OEM Pioneer DVD for the N5 could brink your older N unit. Keep in mind the OEM DVD released in the N5 could be different that the 'Upgrade' DVD released for your N1, N1, N3, N4.. Unless we can verify the part numbers are the same, I wouldn't use it. Yettavr6
No, they are the same part number, and will work with the old N and D series. Intmedhead, please rip those disks and torrent them for us ASAP!!
intmedhead
Anyone have answers on how to get the N-5 to not disconnect from the Treo 700w while changing screens on the N-5?
Yettavr6
There is generally connection problems with the Pioneer's and Windows Mobile phones. Delete the pairing from both the radio and the phone, then install this program: http://www.jetwaremobile.com/ after thats installed, reset the phone and the radio and try pairing again. That worked for me with my AT&T tilt and the D3.
intmedhead
Thanks for the suggestions. I will give it a try.
luv2byte
Got the N-5 two weeks ago and having troubles with bluetooth connection between treo 700w and unit....installer thinks it is the Treo phones. Otherwise unit works great. I had a problem with my PDA phone and n4, pioneer does not support windows phones is what the problem is. Download the 'fix' from http://www.jetwaremobile.com/ and it will probably work - worked for me. I have a Sprint HTC Mogul which is a windows based phone as well. My husband's SPrint Instinct works great with it.
