White AV Connector Pinout

Recommended Posts

This might be useful for anyone who is looking to remove unused lines from the white AV connector, or rather, useful if you want to put some lines back on again later.

This pinout is valid for the AVIC-F700BT, and probably ok for the other units in the F series.

Of note for people doing the Bypass, there are a number of lines at Chassis Ground so you can bypass within the white connector and not have to run a jumper to the black connector. I'm using pin 23 and it's working fine.

Another thing to note is all the audio Outputs essentially share chassis ground, but all the inputs have isolated grounds for each audio and video channel / feed.

Cheers!

Thanks, Stephanie! Now I can throw away that scrap of paper I documented my pinouts on when I removed my RCAs... :D

Now we just have to figure out which one of those "No Connection" pins have to be grounded to enable standby mode when the key is turned off... 5.gif
