NickyD32
Is it possible for anyone, namely stephanie, to upload their entire file system, without the nav boxes or key beeps, to a .zip which i can then unzip, put onto an SD, and put on my 900? im nervous to do it myself... if you could, it would be GREATLY appreciated. The test mode files are available at the thread below. About halfway down, download the file that says testmode.zip http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... c&start=

Stephanie
I'm not sure you'd want to replace the file system of an F900 with that of an F700. You might lose some functionality. I do have a modified-and-tested data.zip file on my server that you can download, then you just need to use the testmode hack to copy it onto your own nav unit. You can grab the data.zip here: http://www.felesmagus.com/stuff/data.zip
schwartz1
yeah an already customized code to remove certain settings in a nice little package thats already programmed and just needs to be uploaded to the unit would be nice. like a replaced font, custom main menu banner like Stephanie has and the removal of the bootup message and change the color of the clock It'd be nice to have pre-programmed zip files that way a novice (like myself) wouldn't do something stupid and screw up the unit by changing something accidently. like could have like 3 different pre-set packages or whatever for the more requested hacks. kinda like an a-la-carte download LOL Awesome work on the hacks Stephanie! looks awesome! Stephanie
Stephanie, did that have the sounds removed? I didn't think you'd updated in that release. The AV keybeep sounds are a separate issue and don't live in the data.zip file. See the other thread about removing the keybeeps.
