skicrave
Oops, helps to include the TLD!
pwnin o'brien
Will it matter if the image is larger than 85x85? Does the unit just rescale it or will it cut off the ten pixels on two sides?
Gortok
Any progress with the 3D .mdl files??

Does the unit just rescale it or will it cut off the ten pixels on two sides? No, it won't matter. I made it a little bigger so that it would be easier to see. I can resize it to 85x85 if you want. Any progress with the 3D .mdl files?? Nope, and I don't think we're going to be able to recreate those files. Our best hope is to replace the arrow with a 2D image like I posted above. HackZ
Hey People I was this thread and I am kinda good at Photo Shop so I went ahead and made a hybrid of the two arrows I saw here. I am in the process of making some cooler, ones so any ideas let me know. Here it is.

Stephanie
I still haven't dug too deeply into the 'mdl' file but I went ahead and made a 3d bmp icon for myself - it's basically the same as my daycar.bmp but I squished it a little bit on the vertical plane so it has an illusion of being from slightly behind. I still don't use 3d mode much but I figured I'd do this anyways... was a bit bored. I did these pics with the map in 'day mode' but night mode looks much better - it's just harder to get a good picture of. I'm still somewhat annoyed that I can't find any way to display the heading in degrees - that's the only thing missing now from my map screen.
