Bman69 Posted August 27, 2008 Report Share Posted August 27, 2008 Well i've been comparing the files between the latest EU update against the latest US one.... there small changes to some .ui files but most changes are in ezrider.exe and WINCEIMG.BIN ... so if this truly speeds up the headunits bootup process it makes me wonder :/ theres also .dll differences so i guess they tweaked them most of the data.zip is the same with a few exceptions i might post some pictures to show which files are different but i wont go into detail with the small changes unless i think there worth it Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Bman69 Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 27, 2008 the names that are in RED are the changes /iGo/ /iGo/data.zip/ui_pioneer/800_480/ui/ /iGo/data.zip/ui_pioneer/common/ the ones in blue are files from the US but arent in the EU update... /iGo/data.zip/ui_pioneer/common/ui/ /LPUE080/PLT/ I was bored sooo yea this is kinda useless Quote Link to post Share on other sites
mizifreak Posted August 29, 2008 Report Share Posted August 29, 2008 i tried it but didn't see any differences on boot up, maybe slightly faster, maybe by a few soconds or so...hard to tell unless u really time it with a stop clock, also my blackberry still doesn't connect, but i guess that firmware has nothing to do with the parrot FW....
