tacomaboy
Somehow I lost the original Pioneer Updates which allowed me to boot into WinCE mode. Looks like Pioneer has updated their site with a single SD card fix, not two. Anyone have the original ones they can send to me? I thought it was on here, but I cant seem to find it. HiFiSi
what u do with that? 1 - unzip the contents of that attachment 2 - Put the two folders contained in that attachment on an SD card. 3 - Put the SD card in the F-series and turn it on 4 - Once it has finished the "copying" close the copying window by clicking the X 5 - You have now booted the unit to windows mode. Enjoy.
tacomaboy
Actually, it didnt work for me, it has the contents of Testmode folder, but you need the Miticap (or whatever ) as well.

Exactly. It's one thing to have a unit that works. It's another to have one that works that you can do virtually anything to . Even though the F has its bugs, its potential outweighs its drawbacks IMO
mizifreak
pardon my lack of knowledge i booted the unit in CE mode..now what? i was playing with the screen, but couldn't find any directories or anything containing any info...where do u get the files from?anyone can shed some light? tks
CatchMeIfYouCan631
Start Program Files Windows Explorer. The Storage Device icon is your SD Card. Select the "My Flash Disk" icon, select edit, copy, open your storage device, and paste. You now have all the needed folders and files to do hacks.
mizifreak
ha..got it tks a lot
Gortok
There's a LOT of info on these pages...read it carefully. Understand what you are doing... Be careful about editing files on the unit's Flash Disk. Ensure you make backups of everything before you change anything... Happy Modding!
