HiFiSi
There is literally HUNDREDS of programs on the market for converting video to ipod format. Check this out... on download.com there are 76 programs with the tags "ipod video converter" and they are ALL FREE. http://www.download.com/1770-2001_4-0.html?tag=mncol%3Bsort&query=+ipod+video+converter&searchtype=downloads&filter=license%3D49
peterparker
trust me .. i've been trying them.... does it hurt to ask if anyone has experience already... that may save me HOURS of trying the HUNDREDS of programs out there.. plus encoding time? there's a lot of trial and error involved... and if it's been done .. why do it again? work smarter.. not harder in any case./ xiliosoft's converter seems to work best in 640*480 resolution and AUTO PAN SCAN enabled... from my experience
