wastedtime2525
Does anyone know if nav weather will be compatible on the avic systems. Can you simply use the same tuner that I use for xm nav traffic? I know this feature is gonna be standard on the new acura's for 2k9 but thats on factory stereos and I don't know how those are configured. I think it would be a cool feature just to try out for a year. heres the xm link: http://www.xmradio.com/navweather/index.xmc

kryngle
I doubt it. If that was to happen I think Pioneer would have to come up with a new firmware addin this feature and a new XM adapter enablin the devise to send out that signal.

Star33
Has anyone tried to get NavWeather added on yet? I have the Pioneer xm/NavTraffic tuner but I'm still on trial and can't upgrade until after. I went on xm radio website and after logging on it said I could add it to my system. Just wondering..... mmsiecom
haven't got mine yet but found out the hard way that there is a special data cable needed to connect the head unit to the xm unit for the touch screen features to to appear as well as to use the xm nav features or it only works as an xm radio, which really sucks due to the only place to find it is at the pioneer.com store and it costs $64 us
