lil_z_33 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 had the n3 installed for a few months now...at first, the vehicle dynamics would work without having the vss wire connected. after disconnecting the battery for an amp adjustment, and reconnecting, the speed gauge is the only one that stopped working. vss is still not connected. any ideas??? jimmy303 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Share Posted September 13, 2006 Usually, you must drive the car around for a while for the sensor to initialize. In the hardware menu in the nav menus, there is a screen for the 3-d sensor, it will say 'sensor initializing' until it is ready.... Quote Link to post Share on other sites

fetuss10 Posted November 22, 2006 Report Share Posted November 22, 2006 im seeing lots of blueand white whires and 2 blue ones with white stripes there really skinny wires ... i have cruise control power mirrors and power windows so i want to make sure i tap into the right one ... one of the blue wires with thie dashes goes to a plug in thats not connected to anything..... is this the plug used to hook a diagnostic machine up at the dealership? lil_z_33 Posted November 26, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 26, 2006 I dont understand how the first few times I resetted my avic-n3 and had to do absolutely nothing to get the speed gauge to work in vehicle dynamics...not all it says is 3-d sensor initializing...i've even tried resetting the system numerous times...i've driven around for atleast an hour one time with the navi disc in and routes selected...should I do that and then leave it in my car powered on for 6 hours like some of you suggested???
