justiz
I'm curious to see if anyone has tried the headlight flashing trick on any units besides the z1. If people on ebay are selling kits that work for all avic units, my thoughts are that it would be accomplished by using the headlight flashing trick, since that is the only way to get video in motion on the z1. I would try this myself, but my avic-n2 is already modded...
cg
Does not work on anything but the Z1.

justiz
Can you explain this?
On an Avic-Z1, you can accomplish the bypass by flashing the parking lights a certain number of times at the correct point in the boot up sequence. fetuss10
so this def wont work on the avic n3?
cntrylvr79
No it won't. If you search you find the answer on how to bypass the n3. Here's a hint, it involves flipping a switch on the bottom of the headunit.
