HackZ Posted October 22, 2008 Report Share Posted October 22, 2008 Hey every one As on title, if you run the Avic Launcher you can FINALLY have KITT as your voice. Download files below save to desktop. open SD card and go to the file "voices". Click and Drag all files I provided in that folder. Close and run to your car. Then turn on TOMTOM with the launcher. Once loaded you can see a small + icon on the map "Upper Left Side" click it this will bring you to the Main Menu. Click on voices and then Change Voice. "There will be a prompt for Only english voices Click NO" In there look for the Kitt Icon. DONE..... Videos: KittVoice.rar Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I actually have this file from 2 years ago when I had a tomtom, - that's what made me ask about using it with iGo. (see end of post for full list and url for tomtom voices) No matter what method I try, I can't activate the tomtom north america maps, so I'm only able to use iGo for now. ** If anyone has a foolproof method for activating tomtom maps, - i would greatly appreciate it!** I tried the method where you have to use a device id with the keygen, but it didn't work out. HackZ Posted December 5, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 5, 2008 This launcher and Mod is only for the f series, "that I know of" But I have looked around and a lot of the other series have launchers as well, Even the S1 and S2 "Hand held AVIC GPS" have launchers for Mio. I'm totally impressed with the customization options- colors, splash screens etc. Still am a little confused- I managed to update to the 2.0 update via sd- is this "iGo" based? Does this mean the other "iGo" mods are applicable? Would love to change to a celebrity voice (Kitt or better yet Ozzy or Homer), am also wanting to add speedcam and red light cam mod, but these all use "iGo" in the description. I'm deathly scared to brick my unit- can anybody help - need a specialist that in plain broken down English provide simple instructions. Please HELP. "Hacking for Dummies" anyone?
