SaabScott
As the subject suggests, I'm having a problem with my F700 unit. At first, all was good with BT. The phone connected without issue and the sound quality was great. No, I couldn't get the phone book to sync, but that is just a minor annoyance really. Not too long after I picked up my car (it came with the unit installed), on the drive home actually, the BT started acting up. What I now get is the following message: Fatal Application Error Application Tel has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. Please contact the program vendor. Program: Tel Exception Error: 0xC0000005 Address: 016D1910 Does anyone have any idea what this is and what I can possibly do to correct this?
SaabScott
Ouch ... 14 views and no comments. Any thoughts out there would be appreciated. Ontario is in the process of making it illegal (something I fully support) to use hand held cell phones while driving. Anyone?
BorisM
Did you do any hacks, particularly with menu images?
skicrave
That can happen, but no one knows why. Delete your phone from the F-Serires, and delete the F-Series from you phone and try pairing them again.
SaabScott
Did you do any hacks, particularly with menu images? None ... not a single hack. That can happen, but no one knows why. Delete your phone from the F-Serires, and delete the F-Series from you phone and try pairing them again. The problem is, I can't delete anything from the F-Series because the app shuts down. It won't let me do anything ... Having said this, I don't think I have tried accessing it without the phone on ... I'll give that a shot in the morning. Also, I've done a lot of digging here and haven't found anyone with a similar issue. Why do you say "that can happen"?
SaabScott
That can happen, but no one knows why. Delete your phone from the F-Serires, and delete the F-Series from you phone and try pairing them again. Well, don't I feel like a complete noob! It worked ... at least for the re-pairing process. I will see if it still works the next time I go out. In either case, thanks very much for the help!
SaabScott
So far, all good. Had the car out and it sync'd up with the phone just fine. It did reset itself when I tried to pull the phone book off my phone, the that is the least of my worries at the moment.
