Kwd114
Its called Resupported. Sorry for the mixup.
VBLUE42
There is also a free app called Landscape TV OUT that gives a lot more control. I don't if it will work for this purpose however. It does offer the same support as Resupported though. BTW, damn good find sir. This is going to make you the hero of the D3 crowd. If you would, start a new thread for this topic and I will sticky it.
mattb00
I was able to get my iPhone 3g video working on my wife's 900bt by starting up the iPod app on the iPhone before plugging the iPhone into the ipod cord. It works just like it does when my ipod video is plugged in.

dmai73
Hi all, I'm new here but thought I can shed some light on this subject (playing video w/audio throught D3). I have 3G, unlocked and jailbroken. I found two apps on Cydia that works for me. First one works flawlessly. It's called "Resupported". This app costs $2.99 (i think). Well worth it. The other is free but has lots of settings to tweak with to get it working properly. I bought Resupported. Plug the D3's ipod cable, select VIDEO at the menu on D3 and it's on,with full audio. Video was played through iPhone's Ipod app. I even get on-screen controls on headunit of basic forward, backwards, stop/play. Haven't tried any other media players yet. Downside is, the cable still does not charge 3G. It worked on my 2G in the past. I read that has something to do with Apple changing the voltage to 5 volts on 3G as the 3G took 12 volts. I could be wrong. Hope this helps!

Paradine
actually I got it working with my iPhone 3GS iOS4.0.1 from Cydia source CENSORED and download "Resupported4 Cracked" and also you need from Cydia source CENSORED and download "DisplayOut" version 1.2 The weird thing is that I can't get the videos to come up the correct aspect ratio. VBLUE42
Do not post info on this forum pertaining to cracked iPhone/Cydia apps.
Paradine
Sorry VBLUE42. Wasn't thinking there. Anyways, I ended up using TVOut2 Mirror TVOut since DisplayOut didn't work as well. When I play videos it plays sideways and stretched. Everything else on DisplayOut works except for the videos. TVOut2 works great and it has more options/flexibility. barrios35
ah, sorry, i didnt mean to insinuate that i am getting the apple composite cable since i only have an RCA input available on my D3. this is the one was looking at: http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=11455 it was recommended in another thread and it seems to be the most reasonable and affordable way to get video off an ipod. edit: i do have a double USB charger for the cigg outlet Apple has both types of cables. They are pricey at Apple. You can find them on Ebay cheaper. I bought mine on there cheap. Works with the classic, Iphone4 and Itouch 4. I think they have generic ones on ebay that should work also. I have yet to hook mine up to my D2 but plan on it this spring and do the bypass. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC917ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0OQ&mco=MTM3NDk4NTk http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC748ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0OQ&mco=MTM3NDk5MDA
