daddy Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 Okay I have the maps and POIs but when I am looking at a city like "Dublin" I can see all of the roads and look up "Addresses", but I can not find or search for any POIs. Gadget B1 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 Ok I am usually good at finding stuff on the internet but the maps are hiding really well is there anyway someone could post a link as to the location of the maps or hook me up with an Arizona map and license that's really the only one I care about updating. There's another solution in these forums that involves using a launcher that can use 8.3.1 version but seems more complicated than I'm willing to implement to get better map functions. paQ Posted February 15, 2009 Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 Just in case: I managed to have a different laguange navigation voice on a US model. Simply take the ZIPPED language you desire, and simply overwrite all contents on an existing voice. One file should remain in tact though; info.ini for instance: open with (for example) winrar Voice_Eng-us-m1.zip (Jason) Overwrite all contents EXCEPT info.ini with winrar from the voice you desire. upload the file back in the avic, and make sure that voice has been selected.
