Ok I am usually good at finding stuff on the internet but the maps are hiding really well is there anyway someone could post a link as to the location of the maps or hook me up with an Arizona map and license that's really the only one I care about updating.

But I would love to update them all if possible. :D

Is there an update on whether v8.0 or 8.3.1 can be used with this solution? There's another solution in these forums that involves using a launcher that can use 8.3.1 version but seems more complicated than I'm willing to implement to get better map functions. Since the post about not being able to use v8.3.1 was posted last Novemeber, I was wondering if this has changed?

Nothing has changed. The built-in navigation still is iGO 8.0 and you can only use 8.0 format maps with it.

great :D

this thread is back up again.

can someone please advise how to get other languages working?

Not per se system-language, but the nav voice.

I added all the files into the corresponding folders. zipped, unzipped, tts, nothing works...

Just in case:

I managed to have a different laguange navigation voice on a US model.

Simply take the ZIPPED language you desire, and simply overwrite all contents on an existing voice.

One file should remain in tact though; info.ini

for instance:

open with (for example) winrar Voice_Eng-us-m1.zip

(Jason)

Overwrite all contents EXCEPT info.ini with winrar from the voice you desire.

upload the file back in the avic, and make sure that voice has been selected. (still finding a way to display it correctly in the avic)
