Open APL2\IGO folder on the AVIC and make a backup copy of ezrider.exe (this is the main Navi program). Copy ezrider.exe from this forum over the one you just backed up. Copy a licrense file (.lic) to APL2\igo\license Copy iGO 8 map of Brazil to APL2\iGO\Content\Map. Reboot the unit. You shoulds have working maps of Brazil now. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Also is it possible to do it on units with 3.0 update. For example for new x series? Also i saw sotmethere that people are runing igo 8.3 on avic. Can i still use the ezrider.exe and world licences? How do you get the system into test mode? and finally any links to the igo maps for europe including base map. I had an European AVIC X1R but was stolen, and I have the original maps.
