xm radio station memory

Perhaps this has been asked, but i couldn't find it with a search.
When you power off the Z1 the XM radio always goes back to channel 001. Is there a way to have it turn back on to the last channel I was listening to?

Try wiring the XM properly. You must have the power switched on the XM Tuner with the ignition. The XM needs 24hr 12v power hence the yellow color of the power wire.

Actually, there are two power leads to the XM box. One is constant power and the other is switched. However, if you use the IP BUS cable, you MUST only hook up one of the power leads. For the life of me, I can't remember which one...but I THINK it's the constant power you hook up. The other you just tape up. There was a flyer included in my box instructing you to the updated wiring. It was NOT in the directions.

If you're using the ip-bus cable do not hook up the red switched wire. Only the yellow constant power and black ground wires will be hooked up.
