lightning413
Well, that depends on which bypass method you're trying to use. Wire Bypass, involves moving 1 wire and grounding it and the parking brake wire. Software Bypass, involves grounding the parking brake wire and changing a setting in one of your files Which one do you feel more comfortable with? Tundra08Stud
I'd like to know either methods. But I guess the software method sounds good. Also Ive been having problems extracting images from my SD card. And also my Zip file wont work either...any information would be great! Thanks
terron
software method is not recommended for beginners just do the hardware bypass and leave the modding for the experienced
jasonpenny
he's an expert installer but that's his first one to install the avic-900bt
dericn
he's an expert installer but that's his first one to install the avic-900bt Then I think the mute wire method would be simple for him. There's a step-by-step guide (with pictures!) in THIS thread. -Eric
terron
he's an expert installer but that's his first one to install the avic-900bt any monkey with a lab coat can install a car stereo given enough time and the right tools; getting data.zip, modding it and then putting it back on the unit in an environment most of us are totally unfamialler with seems to be a bit more difficult. its also just not worth the time; if you have to ground the parking brake for the software bypass, just ground the brake and the mute wire anyway.
