Maverickster
Anyone should be able to do this quick and painless mod to their unit if they don't like the way the knob feels. Here is a picture of my knob after the washer is on. It really is a huge improvement to the way it feels. What a choice of words... --Mav

superman8262
These look REALLY close to what I used! http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=p ... lpage=none I just wish they would state the size in the description. ** I re-measured the washer that I used tonight and found that in it's non-stretched form and a different ruler, the measurements are: OD: 2.1 centimeters ID: 1.5 centimeters and it is about .3 centimeters thick (on edge) and about .4 centimeters wide from the inner to the outer ring. Which is very close to the width of the volume knob on the edge. Anything thicker would probably inhibit the free movement of the knob and or could block illumination at night. aww, i went to lowes and wasted an hour there to find it. it was a good hunt though. the color is reddish pink, and the darn thing was too tight to fit. I bought it anyways and tried to sand it down, and this rubber is harder then then the tread life on my wheels. if your gonna buy this particular washer for the knob, be prepared for the reddish color and buying sandpaper, and pull out your Brittany Spears CD out because your gonna be sanding this down all night. VBLUE42
My knob has become unresponsive....should I send it in for warranty repair???? Viagra should do it. A friend of mine tried that when his knob became wobbly and flimsy and wouldn't stiffen up when he twisted it.

I guess I'll check out Lowe's and Target, etc. too How did it go? did you find anything? That specific one at lowes was a complete bust so ill try home depot and let you guys know the product/model number when i find it.
wonderdiva
Hey now, give Brit some respect! For what, her bad music, her horrible parenting skills, or her atrocous haircut? For the fact that she is one of the biggest stars to ever grace the pop music scene my man... love her or hate her, she is legendary.
