jimmy 2 times
yes, it "will" work, but you will have to modify the end of the GM antenna to make it "fit" on the siri unit.

rtonerii
I am looking at doing the same thing. I was warned about the XM antenna either burning out or just not working well due to how the signal is received. Any comments on that? The funny thing is I have a 2005 Silverado also. Just getting ready for the Z-110BT myself.

Hi briantell, I was able to go in my glove box and lug in my new Sirius adapter and it works wonderful. It is as good if not better then when I had XM in.
