aRYip86
I just installed the F700BT on my Z today The guy who help me to install did the hardware bypass. 1. Relocate the mute wire (Yellow and Black) from the 1st spot to 4th spot. 2. then connect the mute wire to the parking brake wire (Light Green) wire. Now, I can not use NAV Setting, System Setting, Phone Setting and I can not type any address in NAV. But I can use AV Setting and I can play song too. I know it should because he did the bypass incorrect. But can someone tell me which part we are missing or did it wrong!? Thanks for the help!

You need to connect the light green parking brake and relocated mute wire to ground.. that's the missing step, and that's what you left out. aRYip86
OK, so I grounded it. And I can access every options I can, but I can not use it while I am driving... And it also said the parking wire is not correctly connect......
dianebrat
OK, so I grounded it. And I can access every options I can, but I can not use it while I am driving... And it also said the parking wire is not correctly connect...... The bypass (moving the mute wire) isn't done correctly then. The parking brake isn't connected properly notice says that you did ground the parking brake, and the GPS senses you moving.

Can I now just do the software bypass since I don't want to open it up third time to do the wire work
