soccerpsycho99
Greetings to everyone, I have read many of the posts over the last few months and finally decided to get educated. I would appreciate any and all knowledge anyone is willing to share. I have the AVIC S1 and am happy with it for the most part. However after reading many post from others, I have found there is better maps that can be loaded without giving Pioneer $$ for their overpriced outdated maps. What is a good map to replace the stock Pioneer Map? I have read the Tom Tom and Mio maps and am open to all suggestions. I am looking for something that works better than the factory preloaded maps, something easy to use, and something I don't need a degree in rocket science to install. Yes I am a newbe. I am looking for simple things such as where the nearest post office is in an unfamiliar area or bank or other relevant places that the Pioneer maps are lacking. Please feel free to share the knowlede as I would greatly appreciate other people's experience and knowledge.

alizee
I think that the best map for USA is igo8. http://navngo.com/pages/global/eng/news ... g_20081211 If you want to run it on s1, you will have to prepare main program files specially. Sorry but on the Net isn't any free solutions how to install it. I can say you what you have to do, but i expect small fee for that.
