cafagna
Download the JetWare Mobile software to your phone. http://www.jetwaremobile.com Run the program once. Remove the program from your phone. Then try to connect normally. It appears to rewrite a registry file in the phone and allows it to connect downward to the BT that is on the AVIC. greyhd
Were you having the same issue before you upgraded to the 2008 map? If you didn't then it might have been the upgrade.
kryngle
Well problem solved. I had to reset the BT device and install a program called BlueFTP into my BlackBerry Storm and I had NO issues transferring my contacts over. I guess I walked around Telus's blocking system... As for the problem before updating, I was apple to connect with my LG shine but it would disconnect and re-connect at times. Sometimes not even connect at all. Or it will show its connected but when I dialed a number u wouldn't hear it from the car speakers at all. Question about Jetware. I was always curious on if this support the BlackBerry Storm or no??? jaedee
My storm connected first try. I have the 2008 maps as well. The one thing it won't do, is transfer contacts. I'm gonna try the blueftp thing and see if that works.
fastcarsspeed
My Storm also connects fine but I am in the process of downloading the new maps. Just wish I could get my contacts over to the unit.
kryngle
I have installed the BlueFTP and all works with me. Transferred my contacts over. But what I have also noticed is when u go to ur BT menu on ur BB and select Device Properties. Scroll down to SERVICES and then do a Refresh Service List and u should see things change. If u installed the BlueFTP and eanbled it you should see OPP, OBEX or Object Push and shit will transfer.

Nitricoxide
I cannot get the BlueFTP app to download to my Storm. It says "Download failed". The details says "909 Application authentication failure". It says it is downloading v.1.30. I also tried downloading to pc, but BlackBerry desktop manager will not recognize .jad files. How did you get this installed. Thanks in advance.
