superman8262
now this looks helpful and awesome. but what does this mean? 2d map north up? thanks for the search =)
paQ
now this looks helpful and awesome. but what does this mean? 2d map north up? thanks for the search =) Hopefully that it puts North facing up in 2D. Any confirm on this? Also the last bit should indicate there is span set for the alarm on the speedcam.
S4
Which version of iGo did this come from? I believe in the latest (8.3?) 2D North up has been fixed.
ill.die.trying
this is for 8.
S4
Have you tried it yet? If I remember to try after work I will and see what happens
skicrave
Many of those settings won't apply to the F-Series, but it's still worth trying (I can't remember if anyone has tested it before). Let us know what you find.
BorisM
Many of those settings won't apply to the F-Series, but it's still worth trying (I can't remember if anyone has tested it before). Let us know what you find. Some were tested (i.e. 3D arrow sizxe control, original speedcamera hack... all in SYS.TXT). Some only apply to smartphones, but the rest could be useful. skicrave
So really we need someone to take the time to go through line-by-line and apply comments to each setting regarding the functionality and whether or not it applies to the F-Series. Maybe we can all just start biting off small pieces as we make other mods, and post them to this thread? I'll compile a complete list if we get enough useful information. ill.die.trying
i'll start, [navigation] skip_grab_viewchanging=1 sim_speed_factor=1.0 show_current_city=1 show_countrychange=1 autoreplan_action="AUTO" gps_pos_to_road=1 ; snap to road option, on/off selection is on route setting for this to work add the highlited one on your setting_800_480.ui ;****************************** ; Route *********************** ;******************************
N-S-E-W
[mydata] max_favorites=16 ;num_favicons=7 ;favicon="" max_histories=40 ;works. Our units appeared to be set at 32 stock. [navigation] skip_grab_viewchanging=1 sim_speed_factor=1.0 show_current_city=1 show_countrychange=1 autoreplan_action="AUTO" ;not sure if it works 100% of the time but the unit has not said off-route and not re-calculate since I put it on about 2 weeks ago. gps_pos_to_road=1 3d_max_tiltlevel=7500 3d_max_zoomlevel=2000 3d_min_zoomlevel=40 3d_max_zfar=500 3d_scale_carmodel=1 3dcarsizemin=5000 3dcarsizemax=10000 3dcarsizemul=30000 ;all work as has been discussed in many other threads. You'll need to play with values to get the view and car size that's suitable for you.
mhejl
Even with the edit above, the (new) radio button is disabled if vehicle type is "Car" (F90BT). This is disabled in common/ui/setting.ui and then defaulted to off in other cases. Comment out the following (note the comma in the first edit): : [...] ;-----my init ui_SettingRoute.y 0 runif nVehicle 0 'nVehicleTmp.set "Car", btn_vehicle_value.set "Car"' else_runif nVehicle 5 'nVehicleTmp.set "Pedestrian", btn_vehicle_value.set "Pedestrian" ;, btnSR_AlignToRoad.DISABLE' runif nVehicle 5 'rdkeepposon.enable, rdkeepposoff.enable' else_runif nVehicle 6 'rdkeepposon.enable, rdkeepposoff.enable' ;else_run 'rdkeepposon.disable, rdkeepposoff.disable' With these two edits, there is no need for the hard coded gps_pos_to_road=0 in sys.txt! paQ
is there a line for the sys.txt which takes care of that tiny black dot (the actual GPS position) which is under, over and besides my arrow icon? It annoys me
