Help--No sound after connecting Sirius CD-SB10/SCC1

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just finished installing the CD-SB10 and SCC1 tuner to my F900bt. I am getting no sound whatsoever off the unit when its in Sirius mode. Everything seems to be working correctly including volume for every other source as it worked just fine before I installed the Sirius tuner. Now the Sirius tuner option is highlighted and when I choose it---it goes into the channel modes but no volume whatsoever----Can anyone help explain this . I don't even know where to begin?

Witch one would be the p-bus ? Cause i am also having the same issue as the other person . I spoke to sirius and they told me I need another damn part for this that goes the the F.M. transmitter ..Please tell me this part is not true and that I do not need this other part ... Please HELP !!!

It's the cable that plugs into the back of the HU. It's not the power/ground, not the antenna, not the cable that goes to the SCC1 (or SCVDOC1, which is how mine is set up). As has already been stated, simply move it from the "input" port to the "output" port. I made exactly the same mistake.

Hi, I'm new here and found this thread to be the closest to my problem.

I still get the "connecting" and have tried both the input and output on the CD-SB10. I am not using the SCC1, but am trying to connect the SCV1 (Sirius backseat TV) to my D3. I have found a few places on-line that said the SCV1 will connect to Satellite ready head units, so I am hoping I just need to update firmware or something.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
