cntrylvr79
THe only way would be to open up the unit solder out the old led and solder a new one in. Don't think too many people here have or are willing to try something like that with their nav systems though.
sleffler2309
I thought it owuld be something on the software upgrade because going from the 40 disk to the 61 disk is when it changes. Not just when you have the N1 or N3???????
sportsfan21
Do you mean the actual buttons? Or the touchscreen buttons? For the actual buttons, you would need to change the LEDs. For the touchscreen buttons you may be able to change the software.
GnatGoSplat
If you mean touchscreen buttons, I don't think they can be changed. I could be wrong, but I think they are defined in the system controller chip which I believe is not upgradeable. The navigation CD's can upgrade the navigation software, but none of that affects the software in the system controller.
sleffler2309
thats not true because when i had the N1 without the upgrade software the buttons were a light blue and a white and then when i installed the software the buttons were a dark blue, Very different from before. All changed because of the software upgrade!!
GnatGoSplat
You sure it affected buttons in audio mode and not just navigation mode?
