nissanfrontier Posted March 16, 2009 Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 GEXP920 and a 90bt are installed. I have had the 920 for almost a year. I had it hooked to an 8000bt. About 2 or 3 months after activating it, I started getting poor reception, the signal would cut in and out quickly until the XM just went silent. Crutchfield was good enough to replace the antennae when my XM eventually would not even cut in and out.. The new antennae would still occasionally cut in and out but all I had to do would be shut off XM for about 5 minutes, and the signal would come back fine, this occurs about once a week, maybe a little more. Today was the first day with the AVIC up and running, and the reason I am asking about this is there is no way to "shut" off the unit while driving, so I can't reset it so to say until I stop and park. I have the antennae on the roof, any help, or anything else someone needs to know. I am pretty sure this 920 has a year warranty, so I have until May I think. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
