1loudls Posted June 8, 2009 Report Share Posted June 8, 2009 a standard one will work if you run it into the AV inputs, you will not be able to control it from the pioneer you will need to control it from its own remote, all the older tv tuners where analog, so they will no longer function later this month (for the US) and i have not seen any new digital tuners (not saying that no one makes one, i just havent heard of it yet). however if you have your AV1 hooked up to an Ipod, then you will have to plug it into the fron AV input Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You can even use the rear/iPod inputs if you use a splitter or switch box. Check out the thread, I believe its "possible TV" for more details including receiver choices.
