JohnnyDepp Posted July 18, 2009 Report Share Posted July 18, 2009 All: Does the old GEX-P10XMT tuner work with the newer F- and brand-new X-series AVIC units, particularly the AVIC-X710BT? I've already seen posts on here indicating the XM NavTraffic won't work with these later units. That makes since, since the F- and X-series units either don't have the right data input connector and/or haven't been programmed to even use the XM NavTraffic feature of the older XM unit. However, I need to know if the regular XM radio functionality from the P10XMT work with these new units. I'd rather not have to go out and buy a new XM tuner! So...song titles and channel names display normally if the P10XMT is used in these later units?
