parts for fixing button failure/ blank screen problem???

Recommended Posts

You weren't very descriptive at all in your post. To be able to help you, you need to be specific.

Which button failure are you talking about? The knob on the faceplate to change stations? If so, the part # as is CXC4642. Here is a link for that item:

If its some other button, please let me know.

As for the blank screen, you might have a cracked flex cable inside. if so the part number for that is GXX1257. (Thank you to AVIC411 member Concept for the part number!) Here is the link to that part:

Below is a diagram how to get to the flex cable in your units so you can do the swap. Remember this is all at your own risk. I, nor this website, assume any responsibility for any damage you may inflict on either of the units. This is merely advice on what may be wrong and the part numbers.

well actually like in the other posts the first button to go was the EQ. Then maybe the angle adjusters and then the ATT, and after that it was all of them, About 3 days latter the screen was blank and all i could do was touch the screen but i couldnt see what i was touching. Any more suggestions?!?!?!?!? Thanks

I don't know if viewing my last post on the same subject will help you out that much considering it sounds like you know what I know .... but just in case, here it is:

I'm sure if you contact "the guy from ebay" he'll tell you how to fix it ...... for $120.
