brycecube
i have an AVH-P6800dvd, the rack for the screen motor got dislodged after i replaced the touch screen and like a dummy i tied to get it back in place with out taking the unit back apart. i shorted out the internal dvd changer with a screwdriver (i know im a fool). Everything else works does anyone know what cap, resistor, ic or fuse i should look to replace? the unit is apart and i don’t see anything obviously burnt.
MikeWire
Dude, just send it in for a repair estimate. If you are hell bent on fixing it yourself, maybe find a parts HU on ebay?
