dashtwo
don't know if this has been brought up yet but in the gfx folder of the x910's data.zip there are some new .mdl files that aren't in the f one: car_ghost.mdl car_blaupunkt.mdl becker_car_gps.mdl becker_car_ghost.mdl i dont have any 3d software to see what these models look like but might try them out when i get home. hopefully one is better than the spaceship from the f series. There's pretty much nothing available (outside of NNG's dungeons) that can view their 3D models. Blaupunkt one should be a triangle in a circle, though. Not sure about Becker. dashtwo
thanks, i guess i will use the avic to view them. in 2.0 i managed to change my red arrow to gray by renaming the gray one to car.mdl since i am sure there is an easier way, do you know if i edit the [model] entry in the color3d.ini in each scheme will this work or do i also need to edit another .ini [model] car="car.mdl" car_ghost="car_grey.mdl" thanks again i am just learing. It should be possible to set them in SYS.TXT as well.
dashtwo
thank you for your help BorisM, unfortunately i am not getting very far. my sys.txt does not have the [model] heading. should i add it in or put the entries car="becker_car_gps.mdl" car_ghost="becker_car_ghost.mdl" under the [3d_config] (or some other) heading? Supposedly there was one person on one of the Russian forums who knew how to convert standard 3D models into iGO's format. He did a couple of Russian cars and disappeared...
