Asmo404
Hey all, Ok, so I've done the install myself using a wiring harness I got from futureshop (and it works, I might add) My issue here is that because the mk5(jetta/gti/rabbit/golf) radios have constant power... my avic unit ends up having constant power. Should I rewire the acc/batt wires, or is there a work-around for this problem? Anyone? Thanks! Adam

oiler313
you guys have to run a acc source from your fusebox or you can tap into the igniton source. I installed this unit in a 2010 dodge and i had to run a wire from my ignition to the back of the deck so that it will turn on and off with the key.
