flyboyindy
Maybe I just havent paid much attention to this.... but now that I am finally happy with the Navi part of my F90...the Sound quality on this thing drives me crazy... The volume never seems to be constant. Touch a button on the head unit and it lowers the volume..... wait a bit and it goes back....but sometimes it gets louder....then softer... Its driving me crazy. Does anyone have any ideas?
carcass
I believe there is a setting to adjust volume dynamically. Turn it off. Sorry, I'm not near my unit to check for you.
flyboyindy
I have tried every setting on the dynamic volume. I touch any button, my volume gets soft...then like 3 to 5 seconds later it starts rising... and i have to turn the volume down. Its annoying as hell

kenpachi
My volume control started going nuts right after installing r3 firmware. Whenever I use the steering wheel audio controls, the volume control becomes spastic. It ignores the actual steering wheel button inputs and then randomly increases and decreases on its own. I can use the stereo volume knob to pull it back to where I want it, but it won't stay. It just randomly fluctuates until the stereo is power cycled. It is one of two really bad issues I have since the r3 'upgrade'. Oh well, par for the course for the F series, I guess.
