aerotight31
In the video for the XM interface, you mention the button for XM Nav-traffic. I thought that this service wasn't available for the AVIC-Z110BT unit? Since MSN Direct has been discontinued, it would be nice to be able to get Nav-traffic. Can you please confirm if it is available or not. Thank you!
VBLUE42
Not in the way you are thinking. It is just a radio station that will give you traffic for the biggest cities. It does not interface with the navi software and will not reroute you around traffic.

It does not interface with the navi software and will not reroute you around traffic. Are you sure? I have the traffic station for NY programed to a pre set but on the details screen there is a separate button that says "Traffic" and when you press it it goes to the preview station as if you are not subscribed. VBLUE42
Thats pretty much what I said, its a radio station, thats it. It will not reroute you through the navi software or indicate traffic incidents on the map as the NavTraffic service will.
dallas5cowns
XM NAV TRAFFIC is not just a station on the radio. It's a module that provides a direct interface into the navigation module. It apears that Garmin is now partnering with XM as their added feature solution. http://www.xmradio.com/navtraffic/get_nav.xmc http://www8.garmin.com/xm/ But it looks like we'll still miss the gas updates, movies, etc.
