bulldawg3111
Does the VSS(speed sensor) wire have to be connect in order for the navigation to work correctly. If not, will not having this wire connected allow me to use all nav functions will moving? Thanks
PaisanNYC
No and no. I don't have the VSS wire hooked up on my unit yet, and it works great. The VSS provides a more accurate location if the unit loses the GPS signal momentarily. The bypass for the N2 requires the removal of the warranty VOID sticker and soldering two points together on the circuit board, then grounding the parking brake wire from the harness on the back. cntrylvr79
Since your questions have been answered. What kind of car is the n2 going into? I might be able to pull up the color and location of the vss for you.
