kidcrv Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 opk so i tryed to do the bypass. and it worked great but now nothing happens nothing not the screen comming out or the power works no lights but the unit has power i checked that frist also i removed the bypass and still nothing works ne ideas of what i should do Quote Link to post Share on other sites

jimmy303 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 Is this an N/1/2/3? Check and make sure the cable to the hideaway brain is secure. If that is the 30 pin connector you are speaking of in your tirade (take a breath, man), if the socket on the display or the hide-away unit is broken, you may be a little bit screwed. Sorry. sleffler2309 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 most likely i fried some of the little cables while doing the solder. i did the same thing. what is better to use is a conductivew pen. very easy to use!!! So i obught a unit off e bay that was broken for like 200 and just switched some of the parts and it works great now. But definetly a big loss. Although this rout is better then buying a new board whcih is very defficult and with the labor and the parts it owuld cost about 500. So its up to u!!! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
