Phat_J
Hey, I've loaded some custom POI's I got from http://www.poifriend.com, and only some of them display, not sure why .. My unit recognizes them and they are selected to overlay on the map, however only some groups show up. For instance I have a group for traffic cameras and they all show up, and one for starbucks and they work too, However my group for Esso stations doesnt show up .. maybe because there are so many of them in the file? They do come up as a list on the unit so I can select a single one, but it would be great to have them overlay on the map too.. Has anyone had this problem as well and been able to solve it? Nerds 2 You
Make sure you are a member of POI finder when you D/L the file and it should be in order of closest to furthest from where you are located. I believe the custom POI only accepts the first 300 listings (I think) in a file. I added custom POI for Tim Hortons and Esso into mine when I had it and it showed them all for me. VBLUE42
If your using avicfeeds it only displays the first 100.
chinna_n
If your using avicfeeds it only displays the first 100. Is there anyway to load all POIs from AVIC feeds? If already loaded, can we display rest of those? Thanks
VBLUE42
The only workaround is to edit the POI file into separate files of 100 locations before processing it with avicfeeds.

Hmm, that does not seem to be bad idea. We can write a small program and split into several items, like example Shell1, Shell2 etc. Will it be able to display the all these different catergories with same icon etc? Thanks
VBLUE42
It should as long as you add an icon to the icon library in avicfeeds and select that icon when you process the file.
Phat_J
If your using avicfeeds it only displays the first 100. ahh that must be it. I opened the kml file in notepad and good lord theres gotta be atleast 1000. this is going to be a PITA to organize them all but it beats entering them in one by one off of google maps thanks
VBLUE42
Yea try doing a Red Light Cam database of over 3K. That certainly was a pain in the ass.
