Newman
This may just be in my head but I wanted to see if anyone else is noticing something similar... When I first got the X9115 it was obviously quicker than the F-series was. Definately a noticable difference. But after having it for a couple months I decided to activate the MSN Direct free trial. Ever since then I get the feeling that the unit is now much slower to respond to my pressing buttons. For example, if I am on the map screen and I want to enter an address I will press the MENU button then the DISTINATION icon. When i press the MENU button it takes a full second or two before it switches to the MENU screen and same thing happens after I press the DESTINATION icon. I do not feel like this was the case before I activated MSN Direct. Has anyone noticed something similar?
alejalva
I noticed the same thing. The one thing that I also noticed is if I have the traffic alert on it makes my system run a lot slower. Once I changed the setting and removed the traffic alert on msn it worked great. I might be crazy also but I think msn direct slows the system down a lot.
Junkhead
interesting, i ill try it tonight. I find the traffic feature kind of useless anyway. I have had traffic backups twice and both times it said it was a green area. Who and how does this traffic info get reported anyway?
