it might be because you 6 floors down and there's no reception (maybe reception is very weak) in there

add this code to your navigatemap_800_480.ui

 

;TRIPCOMPUTER CONTROLS

 

and add this command on whatever button you want to use as your shortcut

onrelease='ui_NSEWtripcomp.show'

 

and add this BMP's found in the 800_480 folder

IDT_tripcompbg.bmp

IDT_tripcompcont_pause.bmp

IDT_tripcompcont_resume.bmp.

I'm getting a layer error. I tried to replace my existing trip computer code and add to my current code but no luck. Could I be missing something else?

Thank you IDT! it looks great!! This looks so much better with my Red Theme (after I coloured those few bmp's, thank you). Excellent Work! I do have one question though. How do you get the trip computer to show up on the map as shown in your second pic?

you have to press the current speed (with or without route), to hide it you have to press the trip computer

the thing here is to try and make it work first before trying to add it to your current code that way you could easily identify errors

actually i just forgot to add ! on the visible model when navigating that's why it's showing twice so that's the thing you have to edit, the update is done and it's just a matter of uploading it
