I have found a few errors that were overlooked while trying out this mod. First there is a problem with the ipod wheel as the background is not transparent and the buttons do not match the wheel. This is easy to fix as I have done it on my unit

Next, the Nav section is missing its compass and the problem is not the bmp image as I have tried to replace them without any luck. This might be a little more difficult as I believe it is in the coding.

i will get to work on the errors & seed you the file to test out since i dont have an ipod. if you dont mind me asking abb can you sent me a full screen pic of the ipod details page so. i just want to check and se if the bottom left is looking and working good.

compass has been fixed. now on to the ipod. this will take some more time to fix, because im one of the few people who still doesn't own one.

So I've been using the Project Mayhem III Theme for a while now and was dissapointed to see there were no updates to the theme to make it work with the Diaftia's 2.3 mods, so I put together an updated Data.zip that works (or at least seems to work) with the Diaftia 2.3 mods. This includes the split screen (new bitmaps were created) and other graphical fixes that allow the Speedometer and Speed Dials to work as well as some cosmetic changes for the changed quick buttons and other items that seemed to be modified in 2.3. I don't believe I touched any "functional" scripts, but please let me know if you find any issues that may have slipped through my limited testing.

This file should replace the Data.zip in the original archive that you will still need to download. Just copy this data.zip file instead of the one that one packaged in the archive over to the appropriate directory. Here are Dragon24's modified steps for installing with the 2.3 changes:

Make sure Diaftia's 2.3 modification WITH MSN is already installed on your unit. The Meyhem package and my modified Data.zip do not contain all the files necessary to run the mod, so please make sure you have Diaftia's 2.3 mod up and running before proceeding.

To Quote Dragon24 (addtional step in italics):

01) make sure you are willing to put this on your unit and you are doing this AT YOUR OWN RISK.

02) make sure you have a complete back-up of your unit before starting this mod.

03) copy the 3 folders to a FRESHLY FORMATTED SD CARD ~ APL, APL2 & testmode

04) copy the modified Data.zip file above to the APL2\iGo directory on the SD card replacing the exisiting Data.zip

05) put the sd card into your unit and start your car/power your unit

06) windows CE will boot up.

07) double click on MY DEVICE

08) Double click on STORAGE CARD

09) COPY and PASTE the two folder APL & APL2, close folder

10) double click on MY DEVICE

11) double click on MY FLASH DISK

12) click EDIT & PASTE

13) once everything is copied to your unit. turn your car off and eject your SD card after the unit is off

14) enjoy!!!!!

If you have not already done so, you may want to delete the setting files as mentioned in the Diaftia thread.

This is no way meant to undermine the work Dragon24 did on creating this awesome (well, it's awesome when you have a blue interior) mod, I'm just looking to give it a little more life until the super sounding and eagerly anticipated 34by151/Diaftia mod comes out.

Peace,

Dan
