jl1954
Need help....Not sure if I'm posting in the right section, but I'm having a problem with my AVIC 9 NavDVD system. Tried upgrading firmware with DVD disk and midway through the process the system hung/froze. Tried to downgrade back down with original disk and am now getting upgrade error, which prevents the system from working at all. I'm assuming that the newer upgrade disk I tried may've been corrupted. Stepped through most fix procedures I've found online including disconnecting the unit for a couple of days, but nothing seems to work. It's at the point now that the unit is is asking for a password or password code, which I don't have. Pioneer requires sending the unit in for repair for $200.00, plus charges for any work done on the unit. If anyone could assist with this problem I'd really appreciate it. AVIC-U310BT
Hi Roland. Sorry to hear about your problem. You might want to try posting in the "General" thread. It seems like there are discussions about the AVIC 9 there, so maybe someone will be able to help. Other Products/Accessories < General viewforum.php?f=
jl1954
Thanks and sorry about that......I did post in a couple of different forums because I was not sure which one to post in. Did some searches in some of the forums under AViC 9 but found none. It is a much older unit. I will post in General now..... Thanks
