Installed a brand new x710bt with hard bypass on my friends F150 this weekend and everything works great, except the parking brake light and abs light are in the constant on position at all times. I tried everything, but dont have any idea what i need to do to fix it. I believe the bypass is installed correctly as the head unit works perfectly. This is my second install in identical ford trucks and did not have this problem on the first one. Any ideas? Appreciate any help at all! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
pootna Posted April 23, 2010 Report Share Posted April 23, 2010 Just guessing, but maybe you grounded the actual park brake indicator wire on the truck through the harness. With the bypass, you do not connect anything to the truck's park brake wire - only connect ground to the avic harness' park brake wire. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
