jimzpois Posted January 3, 2010 Report Share Posted January 3, 2010 The output from AVIC Feeds is not sorted. It stays in the order the entries were posted. I opened the KML files with Notepad and can manually rearrange the addresses into a suitable order. The file content resembles HTML. The addresses are contained in tags . I simply copy and paste the information between the tags and put them into my desired order. I used AVIC Feeds to build KML files in my laptop based on categories like Attractions.kml, Restaurants. kml and etc. When I put the KML files on the SD Card, I discovered that the files are presented on the U310BT nav unit in the order they were put on the SD card and are not sorted alphabetically. Knowing these things are helping me get my custom AVIC POI files presented in a more useful way. Does anyone know of a program that would sort and prepare these files for input to the SD card without having to do so much manual preprocessing? Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
