T0Mlol
Alright, Here is what I got. I have 1 SD card. Do I just copy all the files (Minus the part_1 and part_2 rar's) onto the SD card and load it into the AVIC 700bt? And follow the steps like on page one of that one thread but forget the swapping SD cards? I need to back up my old firmware first right? How would I go about doing this? Just to be clear, I recommend following the directions in the following thread: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25817 I used that to install the update on my F700BT. I'm not sure how you would go about backing up the WINCE images, but if you copy the testmode folder to the root of the SD Card, this will boot you into test mode where you can create a copy of your existing "My Flash Disk" drive on the AVIC unit. T0Mlol
Is backing up the firmware even needed? If something goes wrong, can't I just redownload the 2.0 firmware off Pioneers website and reload it in?
