silencerOMFG
Go to settings -> Audio Settings. Click on the 2nd button for AV2 until it says "video". Now it is activated. Next, choose your source as AV2, (on the bottom), and that's it.
gmccourtjr
I have read through the install manual. It seems that you have to use the "CD-RM10" cable from pioneer to get the front input to work. Is that the case? I do not want to buy this cable unless I need to. Thanks Greg
VBLUE42
Either that cable or one with the same connections is what you will need.
Kool_Aider
I've tried this a few times so far. On my deck I have the iPod cable that has to be connected in the back through the USB and the RGB cables (the red, white and yellow). When I put it in video mode, it doesn't read my AUX cable. I'm thinking it might be the fact that it's trying to read the iPod?? I've got a Blackberry Storm2 with Pandora, and I like to listen to that sometimes but it won't let me... kind of a letdown. On another note: I have to disconnect my iPod and reconnect it EVERY time I turn off my car. It won't recognise the iPod immediately. I'm thinking it might be an underlying reason why my AUX port is being a douche. That and occasionally my bluetooth will just go really soft and I can't hear the person talking, as well as it often doesn't connect fast enough to end a call then call someone else without just letting it chill. The music takes a long time to get back on. I still find it hard to accept that I have to hack and modify this deck like there's no tomorrow just to get it working right and the way you want it to. They had a great product but didn't execute it properly, and still to this day! Gotta get some 3.0 on there and see if it makes a difference. I'm hoping it'll fix my iPod woes... CF: iPod is connected with AV+USB, AUX won't work. BT messes up as well + random rant.
VBLUE42
Ok what your righting does make clear your problem. What aux cable are you referring to that is affecting the iPod cable? No other cable should affect the iPod cable. Try again and be a little more specific on what your actually trying to do.
Kool_Aider
I'm trying to run my Blackberry through the front aux cable on an F700BT. I'm using a auxiliary-to-auxiliary cable. I also have my iPod plugged into the back using a USB-AV cable. When I change the setting to AV2 it doesn't run the sound from the front aux, it just does nothing. VBLUE42
What setting are you switching AV2 to?
Kool_Aider
I've tried all the combinations. Nothing seems to work. One of them plays the iPod and all the others don't do anything.
nissanfrontier
Just tested it with my Droid. Connected the two devices, went to AV setting and set AV2 to video, then went to AV source and selected AV2 tab at the bottom. I do have an iPod connected as well and that did not affect it. VBLUE42
The iPod should be a on AV1 so that has nothing to do with AV2. Why do you keep talking about the iPod? Your still not making any sense.
Kool_Aider
It's just the only thing that I think could be affecting it(the iPod I mean). I've tried all the inputs a while ago, put I'll try it again later when I get in the car.
VBLUE42
Yea AV1 has no affect on AV2. Your issue is with AV2 alone.
